Shirdi Sai baba once made a person to infer/understand that the consciousnes/soul exists in pure form everywhere but dons various forms of mortal life be it humans/animals etc. to help to self discover the mortals, of it. It can be better stated that Gold is there in every ornament made out of it but none sees gold in them in its original form. This fact can only be appreciated by the enlightened.
